BIOGRAPHY

My name is Julia Kwiek and I’ve been singing my whole life, for as long as I can remember. As a child, I sang in choirs and solo. I’ve always had an incredibly strong connection with music since the day I was born.

My love for music was also shown through my other passions, like dancing and mostly figure skating, which I did for 15 years. At some point, I’d had enough of the pressure and I stopped singing in front of people. I never stopped singing for myself, though—I just needed my break.

Some years later, I felt like I wanted to learn how to sing for people again and to enjoy it. So I started going to a small karaoke bar every Thursday. The first time I watched, the second time I tried to sing a song. Slowly, with every time I was there, my confidence started to grow. I completely fell in love with the karaoke culture and the people, and eventually I dared to take part in a karaoke competition, which I ended up winning. It was an empowering experience for me.

Sometime after, I left my country and came to Greece, where I’ve lived for 3 years now. It took me some time to gather my courage and go to a karaoke bar here, but once I did, I immediately felt connected to the place and became a usual guest. That led me to try my luck in a KWC competition. Step by step, I climbed my way to the Greek national finals that to my amazement, i won.

Words can’t explain what a shocking surprise it was—an incredible feeling. I can’t believe it has led me to one of my favorite places on earth, Thailand. To be here, singing on a world stage in a country I love, feels like a beautiful full-circle moment I never could have imagined. I’m extremely grateful for this incredible opportunity and I can’t wait to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.

BIOGRAPHY
My name is Zoi Baltouma , I’m a nineteen years old girl from Greece who has a strong passion for music and singing. I started singing on my own when I was in the second year of primary school , when I started learning english ,because I prefer singing English songs( jazz, light rock, reggae and music from musical shows). My family has a strong connection with music and that’s the reason why music was always an important part of my daily life. I have never done any singing lessons but I have been practicing for many years on my own and I have worked on the music field. My love for the karaoke industry started when I first went to a karaoke bar and then I started working there because I liked the way that people were connecting with each other through music, even if they didn’t know how to sing. That’s how I ended up signing up for the national karaoke competition in Greece . Last year I had my first experience in a competition and I came 3rd place. This year I decided to try it again because the feeling of being on the stage was truly amazing. I’m so glad and thankful that I came second place on the national competition and now I have this once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Thailand and represent my country in such an amazing organisation. I can’t wait to meet people with the same passion as me and have the best time while experiencing such a big moment in my life as a nineteen year old girl. I want to thank kwc from the bottom of my heart for giving me this life changing opportunity.

Hello! My name is Patrik, I have been singing casually for my whole life but have taken it more serious the last few years. I have been working as a karaoke host for a few years in Sweden and i learned to love it real quick. Singing has always been my escape or happy place.
